Yud Tes Kislev at Beis Menachem Chabad Lubavitch
Yud Tes Kislev was marked at Beis Menachem Chabad Lubavitch with learning, farbrengens, and meaningful participation across the community, reflecting the depth and unity of this special day.
Over Yud Tes Kislev and Chof Kislev, six farbrengens were held in English, Ivrit, and Yiddish, allowing people from different backgrounds and age groups to connect through shared learning and inspiration. These gatherings created space for both reflection and celebration, bringing the message of the day to diverse parts of the community.
At the Yeshiva, a historic milestone was reached with the launch of the first-ever Chalukas HaShas. Forty-two bochurim committed to collectively completing the entire Shas by the next Yud Tes Kislev, establishing a new framework of structured, goal-oriented learning. In addition, these bochurim are completing all 236 pages of Bava Kama, with written testing and accountability built into the program.
Younger students also took part in the spirit of the day. Thirty children attended a Yud Tes Kislev rally, engaging with the themes of chassidus and dedication to Torah in an age-appropriate and meaningful way.
Together, these programs highlighted what Yud Tes Kislev represents at Beis Menachem Chabad Lubavitch: deep commitment to learning, shared purpose, and connection across generations.
